CalCPA Health – Open Enrollment
Open enrollment is the annual period when individuals can sign up for, change, or renew their health insurance coverage. During this window, you can review your plan options, add or drop dependents, and make updates to ensure your coverage fits your needs for the upcoming year. After open enrollment closes, changes are generally only allowed if you experience a qualifying life event, such as marriage, the birth of a child, divorce, or starting your own business.

The following information covers open enrollment for those who have an annual renewal date of 11/1/2025 or 12/1/2025 (2025 Open Enrollment) and those who are looking for coverage effective on January 1, 2026 (2026 Open Enrollment).
Renewing Firms
Firms with a January 1, 2026, renewal date:
The annual open enrollment period is the time for firms currently participating in the CalCPA Health plans to make administrative changes to their benefits, such as:
- Add or remove plan options (medical, dental, vision, life, and disability)
- Adjust your new-hire waiting period or minimum-hour requirements
- Enroll employees/dependents who previously waived coverage
- Terminate active employees/dependents who now wish to waive coverage

Once you submit the quote request, you will receive the customized proposal within one business day.
