Get To Know CalCPA Health
If you haven’t worked with CalCPA Health before, now is the time.
The California Society of Certified Public Accountants (CalCPA) has expanded membership to include financial professionals, which opens the door for CalCPA Health to serve not only California CPA firms, but also financial services firms that are CalCPA members.
Who qualifies? Financial services firms include businesses that manage or advise on finances, such as: wealth management firms, financial advisors, fiduciaries, and lenders.
This expansion creates new opportunities for brokers. Many of your existing business clients already work with, or are, CPA and financial service firms. These are now eligible prospects for CalCPA Health plans.
New for 2026: Alternative Health Plans (AHPs)
CalCPA Health offers Alternative Health Plans (AHPs) powered by Coupe HealthTM—designed to bring innovation, clarity, and simplicity to your healthcare experience and makes costs more predictable.
These plans leverage the full Anthem PPO network, just like our traditional offerings, but with a fresh approach: a simplified, tiered copay structure. Members will know their costs upfront – no surprise bills. These plans come at a lower cost than our traditional plans, with easy access to quality care nationwide. Visit the AHP microsite to learn more and search for in-network healthcare providers.
What makes AHPs different?
- No deductibles,* no coinsurance, no specialist referrals, no gatekeepers
- Fixed, easy-to-understand copays
- Access to Anthem’s Prudent Buyer PPO network – the largest in California
- Small Group and HSA-qualified options (rare in the market)
*Two AHPs are HSA-compatible HDHPs, which do include a deductible.
